Carve Interiors working with Stoke College to give up and coming joiners a start in the construction industry

Meet Carve Interiors, a family-run business bringing 30 years of building expertise to Stoke-on-Trent. Since starting up in 2009, they’ve been busy revamping the city’s look, working on cool projects like the Hilton Double-Tree and the historic New Vic Theatre.

But they’re not just local heroes – they’ve also been making places safer all over the country by updating retirement homes, schools, and hospitals to meet fire safety regulations and accessibility, as well as environmentally sustainable upgrades.

Carve Interiors signed up to support Stoke College’s apprenticeship scheme by taking on two apprentices who are now well on their way to becoming fully trained level 3 carpenters.

Admiring this success, a little over a year later they took on two more apprentices and just this year Carve have opened their doors to our first-year full time learners, giving them a taste of real work experience.

With a vast array of high-tech machines and a team of 15 experts all willing to show them the inner workings of the industry, pairing up with them to complete various tasks and share invaluable industry based knowledge, it’s a golden opportunity for these budding carpenters.

But it doesn’t stop there. Carve Interiors has also teamed up with Pro-trade to run a competition for the ‘best work experience student’!

The prize? A shiny cordless power-tool set!

This isn’t just about winning a cool prize – it’s all about inspiring and rewarding the next generation of carpenters with essential insight into their chosen futures.

Through this initiative between Carve Interiors and the College, The industry itself will soon be blessed with the next generation of highly skilled carpenters & joiners.
